Flying Shear

Metal can be sheared with a flying shear, a sort of cutting instrument. It comprises of a spindle-mounted cutting blade. On a carriage that can move down a track, the spindle is mounted. Metal sheets or plates are sliced using a cutting blade that rotates quickly. Usually, metal sheets or plates that are too thick to be cut with a hand-held shear are cut with a flying shear. It is also used for cutting metal pipes or rods. The said product cuts a continuous product at line speed to a predetermined length. By keeping the main production process going uninterrupted, machine productivity is increased.
